What is a Chettinad Cuisine and what you must try
Chettinad cuisine is known the world over for its special spicy taste. Chettinad is situated in the South of Tamil Nadu in India inside a region in the Sivaganga district. The capital of Chettinad is Karaikudi.
“Chettinad” stands for a social caste that specializes in the preparation of food. The Chettinad cuisine is a true reflection of the dry climate of the region as it is used with a combination of vegetables that are salted and meat that is sun-dried meats.
